About the Game

The first seasonal RvR MMORPG.

Play whatever style you want — PvP or PvE — and win the war for your race. Three months. One crowned victor. Then the Storm destroys the world, and only the echo of the crowned race carries forward.

The Game Loop

One season, four acts — and the world is annihilated.

  1. Weeks 1–3

    Land Grab

The gates open, the world is empty. Races seize outposts and set up their first camps.

  2. Weeks 4–8

    Consolidation

Cities grow, leaders emerge. First skirmishes over key resource points.

  3. Weeks 9–11

    Territory Wars

Massive sieges and blockades. Victory points start dripping into the ledger.

  4. Weeks 12–13

    Destruction

The Cornerstone falls, a king is crowned — and the Storm destroys the world.

The winner’s reward: the winning race is first to unlock the next season’s new classes. Progress becomes prestige, not raw power — no pay-to-win, no alliance wins.

The Promise

We sell the season, not power.

Power is earned, not bought. Status is the commodity. A free demo opens the gates — one faction at max level, hunting zones and outposts, marketplace access with limited sales, and basic customization.

The Founder

Evgeny Netuk — Founder & CTO.

REALMSTORM is largely a backend challenge: a server-side seasonal economy that must withstand cheating and gold-selling at scale. Its founder has already built payment cores and ledgers that move real money.

  • CTO at Area of Games — the holding behind Owlcat Games (Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader)
  • Designed payment cores (PayIN / PayOUT / Core) and a proprietary blockchain, in production at Area of Games
  • Built crypto exchanges, crypto wallets, and neobank / BaaS–CaaS infrastructure
  • C++ / Java / Solidity — former blockchain-technology lecturer at Belarusian State University and the Moscow University of Economics

Field Questions

Asked at the gates.

What is REALMSTORM?

A seasonal Race-versus-Race MMORPG. Four races — Humans, Undead, Orcs, and Chaos — land in an empty world and fight for a single crown. Play whatever style you want, PvP or PvE, and win the war for your race.

How long is a season?

One season is one quarter — three months, in four acts: the Land Grab, Consolidation, Territory Wars, and the Destruction, when the Cornerstone falls, a king is crowned, and the Storm destroys the world.

What happens when the season ends?

The Storm unmakes the world. Gear, gold, territories, levels, and currencies reset to nothing. Titles, engraved names, smith reputation, cosmetics, and the victor’s regalia survive — the crowned echo carries into the next season.

Is REALMSTORM pay-to-win?

No — never. The studio sells the season, not power. Stats, HP, damage, victory points, Stamina, resources, and any boost beyond the free tier are never sold. A free demo opens the gates.

Can I play PvE only?

Yes. Every point of power in PvP is first earned in PvE by design: Stamina regenerates only by killing PvE mobs, and PvE players bottle it into tradable flasks that fund the war effort. PvP captures territory; PvE sets its value.

When can I play?

REALMSTORM is in pre-alpha. Enlist to receive the announcement, beta invites, and the Season One battle report.

The gates open soon.
